On Friday, when the congress leaders marched to Rashtrapati Bhavan to express their opposition to the concerns of inflation, price increases, GST, and unemployment, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Shashi Tharoor were imprisoned.
Even though the Delhi police have rejected their request for authorization, Congress is nevertheless staging a sizable demonstration. The Vijai Chowk road and the path from Parliament to the President’s House have been blocked by barricades put up by the paramilitary troops and Delhi police. To prevent the Congress MPs from demonstrating, women members of the paramilitary are lined up on the other side of the barriers. Additionally, they intended to gherao the PM House. At a news conference, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that India is now not a democracy and that a dictatorship of four persons rules the nation.
