The deceased have been taken transported to Government Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem and the inquest process was initiated under Section 174, CrPC.
A family of six was discovered dead on Wednesday, under questionable circumstances at their homes in Jammu police reported. Six bodies were found two bodies were found in one home and four were found in a different house, according to the news agency ANI located situated in Tawi Vihar in Sidhra locality in the outskirts of Jammu city. The cause of death is not yet known.
The bodies were transferred to the Government Medical College and Hospital to be examined post-mortem. Inquest proceedings are being conducted pursuant to Section 174 of the CrPC.
They were identified by Sakina Begum the widow of late Ghulam Hassan as well as their two daughters Naseema Ashter and Rubina Bano and son Zafar Salim, and two of her family members Noor Ul Habib and Sajad Ahmad, they claimed.
Police officers have rushed to the scene and additional details are being sought.
